This guide will explain how to use the custom tag feature in the menu. This feature allows you to add special labels to products and extras in the menu, which then appear in the web marketplace interface. It can be useful for highlighting specific products and extras, adding marketing labels, or providing additional information to customers.

Adding Tags to Products

  1. In the top navigation panel, select "Marketplace".
  2. In the left menu, select "App Builder", then "Menu Template".
  3. You will see a list of menu templates. Choose the desired template by clicking on the edit icon (pencil).

Selecting a Product

  1. Select the category where you want to add or modify a product.
  2. In the menu category, select the product to which you want to add a tag by clicking on the edit icon (pencil).
  3. On the product editing page, scroll down to the "Custom tag" field.
  4. Enter the desired tag text in this field.
  5. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

Adding a Tag to extras for a Specific Product

You can also add tags to add-ons for a specific product, which will expand the functionality of the add-ons.

  1. In the desired product, scroll down to "Extras available for this product" and select the add-on to which you want to add a tag by clicking the edit button (pencil).
  2. From the list of add-ons, select the appropriate option and enter the desired tag text in the "Custom tag" field.
  3. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

This will highlight a specific add-on from the list of all options for that product. In our example, we emphasize that the add-on has higher demand among all existing add-ons in the specific add-on category.

Applying Translation to Custom Tags

  1. In the left menu, select "Translation".
  2. On the translation page, select the desired language from the dropdown list in the top right corner.
  3. Find the row with the appropriate object type and property name "tag".
  4. In the translation column, enter the translation for your custom tag.
  5. Click "Save" to apply the translation.

Checking the Result in the Web Marketplace

  1. Go to the marketplace page to ensure that the custom tags are displayed correctly.
  2. Find the product or extras to which you added tags and make sure the label appears next to the product or extras.
